CADXChange title block templates (DWG)
======================================

This file is one of twelve sheet templates that share the same title block: ISO A4, A3, A2, A1 (millimetres) and ANSI A, B (inches),
each in landscape and portrait. Plain DWG files (AutoCAD 2018 format), no add-in needed.

What is in every file
- One paper-space layout named after the file (for example ISO-A3), plotter DWG To PDF, sheet size set, plot scale 1:1.
- Frame: ISO sheets have a 20 mm binding margin on the left and 10 mm on the other sides; ANSI sheets have 0.5 in all round.
  Centring marks on the four edges.
- Title block, bottom right, 110 x 30 mm (4.33 x 1.18 in): a block named TITLEBLOCK with 12 attributes
  COMPANY, PROJECT, TITLE, DRAWING_NO, DRAWN, CHECKED, APPROVED, DATE, SCALE, REV, SHEET, SHEET_OF.
- One viewport over the whole frame, scale 1:1, locked (select it and set Display Locked to No before you change the scale).
- Model space holds a rectangle on layer DRAWING-AREA (does not plot) showing exactly what the viewport shows at 1:1.
  For another scale, scale the rectangle by the scale factor (1:100 = 100 times larger) and set the viewport to 1:100.
- Layers: FRAME, TITLEBLOCK, VIEWPORT (does not plot), DRAWING-AREA (does not plot).

Filling in the title block: double-click it (Enhanced Attribute Editor) or use the EATTEDIT command.
To fill the title blocks of many drawings at once, see BlockSync: https://cadxchange.net/blocksync

About the standards: there is no single title block layout that everybody uses. These templates follow common practice for
sheet sizes and margins (in the spirit of ISO 5457 and ASME Y14.1) and use the usual data fields (see ISO 7200), but they are not
certified against any standard. Check your company or client standard and adjust.

Free to use and modify in your own projects, including commercial ones. Provided as is, without warranty.
