LISP Command Terms
Updated October 27, 2026
These terms apply to the LISP command files and the optional loader that CADXChange writes and publishes on cadxchange.net/resources/lisp, in the downloaded .lsp files and in copies of their code shown on the website.
1. What you may do
Use the commands in your own work, personal or commercial, including drawings you deliver to clients. Read the code, change it for your own use, and keep the changed copy for yourself.
Copy the files inside your own organisation, and put them on the computers and in the folders your colleagues use at work.
2. What you may not do
Sell the commands or a collection of them, offer them as a download on another website or in a public repository, or bundle them into another product or service. Remove the header at the top of a file when you pass it on inside your organisation, or present the code as your own work.
To point other people to the commands, link to the page of the command. That keeps them on the current version.
3. Try it on a copy first
A command can change many objects in one step. Every command can be undone with U, but test a new command on a copy of your drawing and keep backups of drawings that matter. The commands change a drawing only where their description says so.
4. No warranty
The commands are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. They are tested in AutoCAD (full version); other programs that run AutoLISP may work, but they are not tested. CADXChange is not liable for lost or changed drawing data, to the extent the law allows. AutoCAD is a trademark of its owner, and CADXChange is not affiliated with it.
5. Paid commands and changes
Some more complex commands may be offered with a licence in the future. A command that is free when you download it stays free for that copy. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. These terms may change with a new version of a command; a copy you downloaded stays under the terms it came with.
