Layout
A named paper space tab representing one printable sheet.
A layout is one paper space tab — the sheet you'd actually plot. A drawing commonly has several layouts (one per sheet size, discipline, or revision stage), each with its own title block, viewport(s) and plot settings.
Batch-plotting tools work at the layout level: "plot every layout across these 200 drawings" means iterating every layout tab in every file, not just the model space view.
