CADXChange

All LISP commands

Load the commands in AutoCAD

Every command is a single file. Load one when you need it, or let the small loader make a whole folder ready at once.

Load one command

  1. Download the command file and save it in a folder you keep for your tools.
  2. In AutoCAD type APPLOAD, pick the file and choose Load.
  3. Type the command name. The first line of the file shows what it does.

Load a whole folder with the loader

  1. Put all the command files you want in one folder, for example Documents\CADXChange LISP.
  2. Download the loader and load it once with APPLOAD.
  3. Every command in the folder is ready at once. Its file is read the first time you use it, so a long list costs nothing at start.

CXLIST shows what is available, CXRELOAD scans the folder again after you add files, CXLISPSETUP picks another folder.

If AutoCAD asks for permission

AutoCAD can warn about files from a folder it does not know. In CXLISPSETUP choose Trust to put the folder on the trusted list, or add it yourself under Options > Files > Trusted Locations.

Have them at every start

In APPLOAD click Contents under Startup Suite, choose Add and pick cadx-lisp.lsp. From then on the commands are ready each time AutoCAD starts.

The prompts of the commands are in English in every language version of AutoCAD.

Tested in AutoCAD (full version). Other programs that run AutoLISP may work, but they are not tested.
