CXDIM2CSVExport and import (CSV)Version 1.0.0Tested in AutoCAD
Export dimension values to a CSV file
Saves each dimension's measured value, the text it shows and its style, so you can check for typed-over numbers.
How to use it
- Type CXDIM2CSV and choose All or Selection.
- Choose the file to save.
- Compare measurement and text. CXDIMRESET fixes overrides.
Good to know
- A text of <> means the dimension shows its measured value.
Load it in AutoCAD
- Save the file anywhere you like.
- Type APPLOAD, pick the file and choose Load.
- Type the command name: CXDIM2CSV.
To have it at every start, add it to the Startup Suite in the same dialog, or load a whole folder at once with the optional loader. About the optional loader
Tested in AutoCAD (full version). Other programs that run AutoLISP may work, but they are not tested.
The code
Plain text, nothing hidden. Copy it into a file named cxdim2csv.lsp, or download it.
