CXM2TTextVersion 1.0.0Tested in AutoCAD
Break multiline text into single lines
Splits a multiline text into one single-line text per line, each keeping its place on the page, ready for tools that only handle single-line text.
How to use it
- Type CXM2T and select the multiline texts.
- Choose whether to erase the originals.
- Every line becomes its own text, spaced as in the original.
Good to know
- Each line keeps its place in the multiline text, rotation included.
Load it in AutoCAD
- Save the file anywhere you like.
- Type APPLOAD, pick the file and choose Load.
- Type the command name: CXM2T.
To have it at every start, add it to the Startup Suite in the same dialog, or load a whole folder at once with the optional loader. About the optional loader
Tested in AutoCAD (full version). Other programs that run AutoLISP may work, but they are not tested.
The code
Plain text, nothing hidden. Copy it into a file named cxm2t.lsp, or download it.
